Each story is a thread in a much larger tapestry, here we explore Abraham's role. |
***A broken heart might seem shattered beyond repair, but always remember, there are those who mend.*** Abraham clutched his heart, desperately trying to stop the bleeding. His surroundings started to fade around him as he suddenly realized his huge mistake. It was too late, as he collapsed to the floor, the distant sounds of an ambulance were heard in the background. All I wanted to do was erase the sweet memories of you. The most beautiful moments of my life Filled with the hope clawing its way towards the light I was immersed in your world and wanted to give my entire being to you Your warm embrace changed my world Your gaze struck my soul I will miss your caress As I take back what you stole from me With one final slice "So, Abraham, you think you can alter your soul's very essence just with one cut?" "Please!" Abraham trembled! "I was only broken-hearted! I don't know what is going on right now!" Abraham looked terrified, the room a bright red with ominous lights shining through. "I do," the voice responded. It was from a tall man, dressed in crimson. "Your memories will stick with you, sometimes beyond just one life." "My death kills those memories,' Abraham defiantly responded. The man in crimson looked annoyed. "Your memories, for better or worse, are who you are! Even the worst memories are a part of you." "That is such bullshit," Abraham responded. "So you think you can maintain a life as it is, all the positives included, without those negative experiences? Those experiences led you down the path to discovering some of the most beautiful encounters, friendships, and love of your life!" He quickly snapped back, "Yah, down the path of getting my heart ripped out of its chest!" "So, that was your final destination in your life?" Abraham's train of thought stopped abruptly. "You have a choice, Abraham. Each person chooses their own destiny. Of course, there is the occasional divine intervention in unique circumstances such as these. Now, your boyfriend can be incriminated for your murder. I am unable to tell you of the final decision of that lengthy trial, but if you go down that path, even if he is found innocent, it will be a long, devastating experience for him. Even if he is found to be guilt-free, I can tell you that! Or the investigation can lead to a completely different outcome, one that displays the true intentions of your soul. Yes, you will likely be punished in this realm, but in the end, it is up to you. Abraham thought to himself, "He killed my heart, he was so careless, I hate him!" |
