Should I make a Kanto story that takes place in Gen 2?

Poll Question:
As I make this Interactive, I'm wondering if I should have three new Trainers go through the Kanto story with Johto Pokémon?

The last time I wrote this, is was a majority 'yes'. But should I remake the Future Kanto path for this new story?

For compete transparency, the Trainers were:
Ashley, a girl who dreams of dating Red.
Leaf, a girl who's a massive fan of Blue.
Yellow, a boy who's penpals with Green.
