To touch the sand

To touch the sand

And not be burned

The sea

And not be drowned

Heaven opened

To swallowed me

So that

I’d not be found

The waves will crash

Upon the shore

To claim

Silence from sound

And in the end

And all the while

That if

Enchantment held

And we were bound

We’d lie beneath

The twilit sky

Filled with fireflies

That wink

First lost then found
