Enjoying a musical at the local theatre.

We awaken in the morning,
Drinking your coffee and chatting about the day.
Working our day jobs until five
Then holding hands on the porch as the sun fades.

We're both set in our ways,
So we give each other grace
And find a way to use our strengths
To make up for where we aren't.

We make love and memories.
Wild and passionate,
Soft and tender.
Cherishing every moment that we have.

We look into the other's eyes
With so much love and gratitude.
We fought so hard to be here
But it was worth every tear.

We snuggle on the sofa,
Watching TV or listening to music,
Simply drinking in the sweetness
Of the love we share together.
