You taught me everything I know,

When times were good you stood by my side,

When times were hard you held me as I cried,

And I’ll always remember what you gave me,

And I forgive you for all you took away,

I am sorry but I cannot bring you with me,

I cannot continue to live over the same day,

You must stay and I must go somewhere new,

So, dear Yesterday, I say goodbye but thank you.
