A walk into friendship-through memories, moments, and the threads that still hold meaning.

"Some Threads Never Untie”
I wanted to post today.
Say something sweet, tag a few names,
Maybe even dig out an old picture with bands on our wrists
and that wide grin we all used to wear.
But something held me back.
Not bitterness. Not ego.
Just… something softer. Heavier.

We spoke of staying — thick and thin,
Of not letting go, no matter what.
We tied threads around each other's wrists,
And for a while, it felt like forever.

But time changed things.
Some faces blurred, some voices faded.
Some promises got quieter — not broken, just… tired.

I’ve lost more than I’ve kept.
Not by choice.
Not always by distance.
Sometimes, just by life moving on.

But I remember.
All of it.
The fights over who got the best band.
The joy of making dozens by hand.
The silly secrets. The loud laughs. The silent drifting.

So here’s my Friendship Day post:
To the ones still here, thank you.
To the ones who left, I hope you're okay.
And to every bond that once felt like home —
Some threads never really untie.
