Open heart, let none within
Don't hurt again, fear and flee
I cannot face the dark that haunts
When lies enters my doors to taunt
They make me scream with silent terror
I lay floating in endless surrender
I refuse, I try with might I fail
When shadows feast as still I wail
Closer and faster like silk and fluid
I find my body fight less and languid
Don't let them in, I say in soothe
