do you think the stars ever wish they were smaller?
no, they probably don’t
they want to burn brighter
they want to be bigger
they want to be seen
i’ll never be a star
i’ll always be the moon
she wants to be smaller
but she’ll always be present in the sky
she’ll always be seen
even if she doesn’t want to be
