The little creatures don’t like being trapped |
| Annie mouse heard Betty say, “Sally, put that trap away.” She swung her tail from side to side And stole the cheese with a sideways glide. “Betty, baby, come and see, This little rodent bothering me. Her whiskers are so long and gray And she stole the cheese and got away.” Annie mouse walked over to me Where we lived in a box of Pictionary. I picked up the pencil in my little mouse maw Imagined the humans and started to draw. “Betty, baby, come and see - Is this a picture you drew of me?” Sally held my drawing near And Betty glanced and sipped her beer. There were hearts and flowers And feminine powers And women in love unaware Of two little mice beneath the game room chair. |
