The Muscovy

A Duck of a Different Color

Cairina moschata is its species name
Trasspassing seems to be its game
Because they are not native to Florida
They are a Class III wild life critter
And these Muscovy do product litters.

Mexicao, South America and Texas is their origin
They come looking for shelter and forging
They don't look like most cute duckies
Red, fleshy protuberance covers their face
They have been known as the ugly duckling race.

But I don't hold that grim opinion
Big ducks, heavy weights, attitude of dominion
Brown, black with iridescent greens and purples
They can move along with such distinguished grace
Inspite of their crude unexplainable looking face.
