Wreaths of Remembrance

A non-rhyming Bop. (No,really. That's a poetic form.)

He never laughs.
He never cries.
He never prays.
He never hugs a child.
He only lies
Beneath the stone.

With wreaths of Remembrance around the stone

The people laugh.
Sometimes they cry
Sometimes they even pray.
They walk around the graveyard.
They talk of this and that.
Sometimes they remember
Sometimes they forget
And go back to their lives.

With wreaths of Remembrance around the stone

The world spins round.
It laughs
It cries
Sometimes it remembers
Sometimes it forgets
And starts another war.

With wreaths of Remembrance around the stone.

Note:This is a form called a Bop. It involves three stanzas. The first and third are each six lines. The middle stanza is eight lines. Plus there is a refrain between each stanza
