If you want to select
someone you respect
The Moo-vers and Shakers
are the ones you should elect

Cows show their Moo-ves
They shake their hooves
When you vote for them
The best you shall choose!

Maisy Moo wanted her town
To be the best in miles around
Everyone should smile always
She'd wipe out every frown

So she could be spotted
On ballot day as she trotted
To the voting booth
With the bovine candidate she was besotted

The poll official demurred
Are you registered?
When she mooed yes she was
Everyone around cheered

So the cow went to vote
And all the newspapers did quote
Her moo-ving statement
"On the bovine I dote!"

The candidate didn't win
But Maisy kept up her chin
When the milk runs out,
there's always tonic and gin!
