Back in 2002, Sam Adams 2as living and working in Mumbai, India. He was separated due to his and his wife’s jobs, she was in DC and then In Korea, while he had a three-year assignment in Mumbai.

When his wife joined him, they went to GOA for the first time.

Every morning a dog came to him. The dog looked like he was a cosmic dog.

Listening to Sam Adams, as he did his morning yoga on the beach.

He told the dog everything, The dog looked like he understood everything he said. He thought that the dog had been sent to him from God to rescue him, to save him and to make sure he was on the path to reconciling things with his wife.


One morning he said,

“Say Cosmic Dog
Are you God?

Bark once if yes
Two if no

The dog barked one

Are you Allah?

One bark

Are you Buddha?

One bark

Are you Satan?

The cosmic dog growled, And he knew he had gone too far. The cosmic dog was his constant friend for a long weekend. Sam never forgot the lessons the Cosmic Dog gave him that week.
