Freedom and Hate

Political Division is a myth!

There was a man who spoke of freedom,
whilst another spoke of hate.
And the people came to listen,
as they talked about the state,
of affairs as they could see them,
and how personally they would put the world to rights.

So, the first unfolded conquests,
discussed the fall and rise of powers,
and the other raved of privilege
ensconced silver spoon, in ivory towers
so sure, of where to place the blame,
and neither of them had really ever give a damn.

Whilst one propounds the rights,
to which obviously we must all agree,
the second proposed solutions
those in power so surely would decree.
Create the perfect place to live,
Utopic vision of their own self righteous minds.
