| The wonders of our God speak of Him They declare his mighty deeds The heavens are the work of his hands By his sacrifice we have been freed What man can stand with the Lord most high His thoughts excel all of man He dwells in heaven with His angels And His ways no one can understand He spreads heaven like His own vesture From the clouds He drops lightning. The very deep congeals before Him And from His abode the angels sing God’s wisdom abides with Him alone His glory is to be feared His creation speaks of His power And for my atonement He was seared For two-thousand years we have waited. His soon and coming return Eternal life in heaven above Or condemnation to those who spurn |
