I have nothing to spend to make the scene
No cabbage to spend at all to buy cabbage and corn beef
My pockets are quite lean I have no cheddar to make the scene
As with every year I have little money honey
I have no clean threads to wear out and March 17th is almost here

I wish things were different and I had some bread to make the scene but I don't so I may just stay home
Which again is nothing new for I will not be missed at all
It is what it is I am not popular anyway I am not
I don"t even have envy I do not
So again most likely home I will be on March 17 I will not be missed
Oh wait I'm wearing the colors needed now as we speak, oh well I guess I forgot

However I still have none in my pockets( meaning cash) and here where I live that counts a lot
Well if I opt to stay home at least I can stay serene with or without any cabbage
However I do have fresh recovery that's better than any four leaf clover
So I guess I have what I need to make any scene or not if I choose
So I guess I have my pot of Gold
At the end of my rainbow I have indeed found Gold :however no leprechaun!
