The poem is full of sensual language |
| This gift, this tendering of my soul This softening of my skin, this giving of the whole. This secretive sigh that carries away my control. This loosening of the thighs, this swelling of my breath. This body thirst, unquenchable heat, this demand for nothing less This seeking surface, arching back, twining arms entreat, confess This warming of the blood these grasping hands and seeking lips This tidal rhythm, moon pulled, sun warmed and eager hips This ache that surges water strong, pounding thru my fingertips This beseeching desire, enfolding, ensnaring, all consuming need This tension pulls me taut, humming nerves, breaking through and free This wash of hunger flooding, flowing, cresting peak to its release This shivering form, this sharp cry, this flushed skin, this taking you in This deep sigh, this soft melt, this moist heat, this slick salt sweat of love. 2006 |
