A friend, a helper, an inspiration
Puppyhood to teenage dog
Party on - enjoy the celebration!
Your birthday is a special day

Bring all your canine friends
I'll give them some lovely treats
Roasted, toasted, flavoured blends!
The biggest woofiest feast!
Have some crazy games
Dog-of-war, jump and catch
And chase-my-tail, fetch-the-stick
You're the best of the batch!

Dear pet I owe you
All my happiness
I can only be grateful
So very very blessed
You are my all, birthday canine!
