A Sense of Purpose

Experience, training, and know-how - a person has a lot to produce and achieve -a poem.

Nothing is ever achieved without
A sense of purpose.
When passionately displayed,
This attempt at seeking rewards shows
Command, utility, and attentiveness.

This attitude pertains to humankind, nature,
And the furtherance of hopes and dreams;
It defines character, good judgment,
And most of all, permanence
In a skillful and likable trade.

We owe an immense debt of gratitude
To this foresight,
Which brings out the best
In ourselves and the humble people
Around us.
Without it, we are just
Aimless, tiresome drones
In a demeaning world…
