No Love Lost

Your eyes are so misleading

Your stark blue eyes are misleading,
They gaze in mine without pleading.
This time I am not acceding.
The love's not there.
You know I am not misreading,
And you don't care.

You walk away without a glance.
It's been years since we had romance.
Our love no longer stands a chance.
Time for the end.
I'm no longer under your trance,
I won't pretend.
