Wishing Well

A bit depressing but it talks of positivity.

The rain came down, wetting the ground
I look to the night, and all around

I see happy people going about their day
But they won't know my pain unless I say

The writer in me feels sad and uncomfortable
But I still see the light in each of all of you

I think I will walk alone today
It'll help with this poem in a special way

I know everyone can feel sad too
But it's up to us to see it through

Time passes slowly and life changes ways
It is time to think of much better days

Here comes the day light as people awake
I hope they're ok and breathe with the day-break

The birds will be here soon, looking food
Their lives so simple as they change my mood

Now I smile and feel very well
I prayed and smiled, looked down the wishing well
