A question we all have asked

How much longer,
will my feet drag on?
How much longer,
will this life go on?
How much longer,
till my back breaks?

The pressure builds up,
my shoulders get heavy,
I cry out,
to no avail.
How much longer,
can I go on?

How much longer,
can my heavy heart stay afloat?
Slowly sinking,
giving in to the tide.
How much longer,
till I have nothing more?
