Bilbo and Frodo |
In the days of wild freedom in the land of climate mild Mother Hobbit did rejoice at the birth of her little child. 'Frodo' shall be his name and he shall fight brave battles In every child or grown up game He shall prove his mettle. His Uncle Bilbo was pleased At the birth of a new nephew "He shall be my heir," he said And the bond between them grew. Frodo sat at Bilbo's knee And heard many a tale Of the Shire, and of Bree Wagons, horses, ships that sail. "One day, Uncle," young Frodo said "I shall have an adventure" "Oh, you'll just have a peaceful life ... that I can ensure!" But the Uncle was proved wrong the day he found the magic ring And his nephew inherited it But of that, other voices sing. My story is just of this Uncle and Nephew bold Which led to a legend That Tolkien has told! |
