may chance, seeking to beguile us.

Mathematics guides its ebb and flow.
Metaphysics sets a high plateau.

Many composers vie for notice,
mightily striving for their opus.

Mendelssohn, Mussorgsky, and Mahler,
mystically, with gifted power.
