To Those Who Settled

Just want to complain about having to settle to much in life, but fancy

An Ode to those who've had to settle far too much in life
Whose dreams were far too grand in scale
Never accomplished
With only regrets and compromises to share

Those whose dreams were left abandoned and waiting
For that one day when it would they'd finally be right and able
A day that may soon be coming, or that'll never be seen.
