Love Embodies: A Star Forever

A star is rising through the spirit of human perseverance - a poem.

A powdery threat
Disintegrates -

Hail and sleet pelt and scatter
The river’s honored captives;

A holiday fish spies
The bear seeking food;
Powerful sweeps
With a voluminous clarity
Engage the prey;
Water masks the heaving paws;
The search continues
In a more targeted mauling…

The grimy, slick pair dampens
And hurls recalcitrant splashes…
A new age of climax
Leaves the scene
In a frothy specter,
Borrowing the hillsides’
Peaceful pathways…

The harbor seems grander
At the village center,
Where men and women
Barter and weave assemblies
Of patented work…
Children attend school and play;
And the chief and medicine doctor
Swing and trounce feathers
Onto sacred skulls,
Ensuring eternal triumphs
Toward the Highest Order,
Stars and planets aligning…

The priest shall pronounce
The newborn’s presence
Toward the happy scene…
The truth is eloquently expressed
In these metamorphic trances:

And the chance is meditated upon
Which is amicably
And precipitously emblazoned…
