Reanne discovers a whole new level of Laser Tag she hadn't found before. She wants more.

Shots fired, sending Reanne hiding behind the wall. Red dots lit up the window she’d been perched in, sniping at the opposition.

One of the men yelled, “We know you’re up there. Show yourself.”

She dropped into a crab position and waddled back to the opening. Her head poked just over the sill and she stuck the tip of her gun out.

The college preppies were fools. Bunched together, their vests glittering like a landing strip, she had her choice of any one of them. She fired off a few shots and heard the telltale beeps that they’d been hit.

“Aw, come on,” one of them cried out.

A snicker escaped her. Man, she loved this game.

Keeping her head low, she peeked out of the vantage point again. They pressed themselves against walls, their guns at attention. They thought they were safe, but she could spot blinking lights through peepholes and aimed, blasting them.

Her vest whined that she’d been shot, and she spun upon her opponent. One of the college boys had snuck up on her and he pointed his weapon at her with a toothy grin.

“Thought you had us pinned, didn’t you?”

Her eyes narrowed, and she gestured at her firing perch. “Well, if ya’ll didn’t flock together and make it so easy, I wouldn’t be shooting you. Look at the rest of them now.”

His gaze roamed over her, not even flicking to the window. She realized how awkward her perch was, her legs spread with her butt barely above the floor. Grumbling to herself, she pushed off the ground, immediately getting shot by one of the other snipers.

“There. Feel better?” Her vest yelled at her. She shuffled to the side to avoid more unwanted shots from the distant group.

The laser followed her movement, but his grin didn’t carry any hint of a threat. “I’m thinking I might turn Benedict Arnold to hang here with you. Mind if I join?”

“Don’t shoot me for points and we’ll call it good.”

“No problem.” He stepped up to the window, crouched, and began taking out his friends. “What’s your name?”

“Reanne.” She stole a glance at the tall, young man beside her.

Dark hair stood on end, so fluffy she wanted to pat it. His light brown eyes shifted to hers, and a crooked grin popped up the right side of his mouth. “Not even gonna ask me my name?”

Her focus moved back to picking off his buddies and she said, “Well, I thought we already decided it was Benedict.”

When he laughed, the sound made a knot form in her stomach and spread to her groin. She didn’t want to admit it, not even to herself, but he was hot.

“Believe it or not, I’m Benny.”

She stopped shooting, her gaze returning to him. “You’re shitting me.”

“Nope. I’m for real.”

Cutting off further conversation, their vests bellowed at them that the round was over. Time to find an exit.

“I’m following you. You obviously know your way around here.”

She laughed and led him through the sharp turns of the laser tag maze. “Yeah, I’ve been coming here since I was sixteen. I know this place inside and out.”

“How old are you now?”

His question drew her attention over her shoulder. He acted innocent, but she was willing to bet her interest was returned. “Twenty, you?”

“Aw, you’re still underage,” he teased and added, “I’m twenty-one.”

“And not at a bar on a Saturday night. Le gasp!”

Their banter ended when they turned the corner before the exit and ran smack into his buddies. They recognized her from their game-long war. She received warm smiles but not Benny. Poor Benny. He got slugs on his shoulders.

“What the hell, man? You’re not supposed to be shooting us,” another tall man said.

Benny shrugged and pointed at Reanne. “Sorry, but can you blame me?”

A short guy with a dark goatee and a twinkling eyebrow ring looked her over once. “Okay, fine. Can I join you?”

“No.” Benny’s answer left no room for debate. When he met her eyes, he said, “We can’t all fit up in the tower. Plus, who would we shoot?”

A smile stretched her lips. While he was being truthful about the targets, she knew for a fact they could comfortably finclude a large group up and around the tower. He didn’t want his pals getting between them.

Her grin made him shift, and his gaze dropped to his feet. She said, “He’s right.”

“Dammit,” the goatee man said. “You’re not very nice with a gun.”

She agreed again. “No, I’m not.”

They hung up their vests in the setup room and wandered back to the lobby. Benny, just as cute in normal illumination as he was under black lights, lounged near her. They all studied the screen, waiting for their scores to pop up.

When they did, she smirked. First place and not by a small gap either.

“Holy hell. Who is number five?” one of the college preppies asked.

She waved her hand, the cheeky grin widening.

“Should have guessed.”

Her new friend, Benny, got sixth place and grimaced when he examined the details of the shots. His finger scanned down the rows of info but she didn’t need to see it to know what he was studying. She’d beat the heck out of his friends and him.

“Dude, you hit me so many times. Even my gun. What did my gun do to you?” he asked.

“You picked the hiding spot, not me.”

“Yeah, well, it’s gonna be the two of us in the tower again. I’d rather shoot with you than be shot.”

Nodding, the warm tingling in her groin started up again. She needed to keep her thoughts straight and not imagine running her fingers through his dark, fluffy hair or kissing his thin lips. Nope, focus. Nothing good could come of her daydreams.

The next round didn’t start for about ten minutes, so the group wandered toward the arcade. She leaned by the door leading into the initial rules room. As she tried to shake the images of Benny out of her mind, someone touched her back, startling her out of her revelry.

“Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you,” Benny said.

Her heart strangled her words in her throat and she opened her mouth like a fish. For a moment, she couldn’t think up anything to say. “You didn’t scare me.”

“And I totally believe you.” He stepped around so he could face her, leaning against the door to the entry room.

“They’re going to hit you with the door,” she said.

“Oh, you’re right.” He moved closer. An inch separated them.

The scent of pepsi washed over her. She understood what his mouth would taste like, fueling her fantasy and embarrassing her more at the same time. What was he doing?

He leaned in and she subconsciously rose on her toes, bridging the distance between them. When he spoke, her lips felt the air move from his mouth. “Is this better?”

“Yes,” she whispered.

“Yo, dude. Your boy just got his ass whooped at basketball.” One of the guys interrupted the moment, making them jump apart.

Benny glared at his friend for a few seconds before smiling at the lot of them. “Yeah? I’ll show you an ass-whooping.” He turned his attention back to her and added, “I’ll be back. Got some basketball to play.”

He left her standing there, lost in the lingering scent of soda and sweat. Her hand rose to her lips, relishing the memory of the air from his mouth brushing hers. So close.

The overhead speaker blared out, “Cosmos group, please report for your mission. Cosmos, report for your mission.”

The door popped open and a young attendant smiled at her. She took the ticket and directed her in.

With no hesitation, she charged to her favorite color. Blue. She plopped in the corner in the bottom row, leaning against the wall. The pack of men followed her, clustering about her in a chattering mass. Benny sat behind her, his legs folding around her.

Her eyes darted over the obnoxious gathering. Had she been adopted?

Not by choice.

Two smaller clutches of adults wandered in, but no one else followed. That’s how they knew the night was drawing to an end. The batches shrunk more until only a handful of players remained. Sniping became a useless skill because of too few targets.

Thankfully, a decent amount lingered tonigt and she could hold down the tower with Benny. They recited the rules with the worker, promising not to run, jump, crouch, or swear. She released them.

Reanne’s crowd trailed behind her through the tunnel, piling into the blue corner with her. She spotted her vest where she’d hung it up and threw it on. No one was taking her lucky number! When she finished unlocking her gun, she glanced up to witness Benny drinking her in with his eyes.

Heat rushed to her cheeks and to other, more sensitive areas of her body. She was grateful for the black lights above them. It hid her flushed complexion and hopefully disguised how she drank him in, too.

The eyebrow-piercing guy eyed her too. “Damn, you handle that weapon well. Got a nice firm grip.”

“The better to shoot little boys.” She pointed it at him and mocked a shot.

He clutched his chest, reeling back a couple of steps. “Oh, straight to the heart.” His attention moved to Benny. “You sure we can’t come with you up to the tower? She’s good.”

“Absolutely not.” Not only did Benny’s tone leave no room for argument, but he gave his friends a warning look.

With pouts and grumbles, they accepted his decision.

The worker released them and they charged into the maze of wood and shadows. With mountain goat sureness, Reanne led the charge, bee-lining through the sharp twists and turns for her favorite location. His gun at the ready, Benny kept close to her, making sure his crew didn’t trail them.

Almost to the top, the vest warned them the game had started. She glanced over her shoulder. “No Benny Arnolding me.”

His right-sided smirk met her words. “I wouldn’t dream of it.”

When she peeked out of the windows in the bridge to the tower, she spotted his crew in the same spot from before. “Your boys don’t learn.” She shot a few rounds, setting their vests off and alerting them to their presence.

“Yeah, it is rather like shooting fish in a barrel, isn’t it?” He fired at them, causing a string of colorful swears to erupt from the clump.

Laughing, she darted to her favorite window and continued picking them off. Benny crouched, pressing his gun next to hers and brushing her hip with his shoulder. Every time he shifted, his limbs touched hers.

She couldn’t think or breathe and needed to put space between them. Trying to shake her head clear of the way he made her stomach flip-flop, she stepped away from the opening and squished between two beams of wood, leaning her back against the wall.

“Are you okay? Did I do something wrong?” He stood up, facing her with concern written all over his handsome features.

She shook her head. “Nope, just taking a breather.”

“Are you sure?” His feet crept closer, leaving inches separating them again.

The darkness of the tower, the nearness of him… Something in her broke into bravery she never shared before. The gun dropped to her side. She grabbed his shoulders, rising on her toes, letting her lips graze the air above his.

One of his hands smacked into the wood behind them as he closed the remaining distance, his other hand tucking around her waist, pulling her to him. He tasted of pepsi and salt.

The heavy bass music thrummed through them as their mouths opened up to each other. Her hands slid down his vest until she found the bottom overhanging his pants. Her fingers tucked into his belt loops and jerked his lower body to hers. His desire pressed hard against her, making her entire being throb in time with the tine, or maybe it was her heartbeat. She couldn’t tell anymore.

He nipped her bottom lip, rocking her with him, his brown eyes staring into hers, desperate for permission. He had it. She needed to feell him stretching her, stroking the fire, and giving her release.

She needed it more than she could think. Her lips found his earlobe, and she said, “Please.” Her hands pinned him to her, begging him to give in to her.

He released her, pulled away, and reached into his back pocket. Like a magic trick, he flipped out a condom.

She laughed. “You just keep those on hand?”

“I’m cautiously optimistic,” he said, stepping back to her.

When he opened his fly and reached into his pants, she leaned her forehead against his, eager to see what would be produced. While she didn’t necessarily judge a man by his size, if it were gonna be a one-ride-and-done kind of night, she wanted it to be worth it.

She wasn’t disappointed.

He rolled the condom on and when he lifted his hands, she stretched hers down. Her hand wrapped around him, squeezing his girth and inducing him to gasp. Her fingers found the sensitive nub beneath his head and rubbed him.

Their mouths locked together again, probing and full of heat. Her hand stroked his hardness, building up friction and making her ache with so much need. Their vests clanked as she leaned hard against him, using her body to convey her desperation.

They broke apart, and he spun her to the wall. His hands gripped her hips, kneading the fabric of her leggings. Hers covered his and tugged.

Taking it as an invitation, he wrestled her pants down, revealing her commando style. One of his hands slid down her bare skin and caressed between her thighs. Wiggling her clothes down further, she opened for him.

His finger slipped inside her, finding her lips wet and ready. A low moan rolled in her throat as he wiggled two fingers in her. It never took her much to be stimulated, and the idea they might be caught at any minute was pushing her over the edge.

He withdrew his digits, replacing it with his dick. His head was so hot, it felt like a torch rubbing her sensitive skin. She adjusted and leaned forward to give him a better angle.

For a moment, he pushed against her and then her folds embraced him. He shoved into her completely, his pelvic bone connecting with hers. She gripped the wood boards, torn between pleasure and pain at the sudden thrust so deep into her.

When he moved out a touch, her knees wobbled. Pleasure, definitely pleasure. He pinned her in place, keeping her from moving her hips against him. She glanced over her shoulder at him, asking for more with desperate pants.

“You feel too good,” he said, his voice raspy. “I’ve got to give myself a moment.”

“Please, I swear I’m quick,” she begged.

His torch drove into her again and she cried out. She loved the way he felt inside her, hard, searing heat, burning her until every nerve tingled with him. Her right hand traveled down to her thighs and touched the pulsating bean between her lips. With his deep thrusts and her fingers stroking her little nub, she threw her head back, letting her pleasure roll out of her in a moan.

Her noise froze into silence as her body flexed, gripping him with the fervor of her excitement. Her eyes squeezed shut as the climax held her. Before she could open her eyes again, his hips slapped against her faster, somehow, even deeper.

The waves shifted into a build-up again. She bowed her head, grunting as her body hungered for the next orgasm. Her fingers reached even further down, feeling his penis, slick with her juices, sliding in and out of her, in rapid motion.

Her touch made him gasp, and he thrust into her once more, twitching and panting.

“Oh no,” she wheezed out.

“What? Did you not come? I thought you did. I would have sworn you did.” Panic laced his voice.

She laughed, pulling her hand away. “No, I came. I just.” Her brain was too deprived of oxygen. The words weren’t working. Another laugh escaped her. “I’m just greedy. I was this close to a second one.”

He slid out of her, taking care of his cleanup. His expression was a mix of confusion and disgust as he tried to figure out what to do with the condom. “You were close to a second one? What do you mean?”

Tugging up her leggings, Reanne shook her head. She didn’t want to explain how her body worked. It didn’t take much to get her going, and it didn’t take much to get her to the finish line. Sometimes, she even masturbated multiple times in a row cause it felt so good. Guys got weirded out when they found out.

When she realized he was about to drop their garbage in the corner, she said, “Don’t you dare. It’s not that poor girl’s job to clean up biohazards.”

“But,” he started and then pouted when she shook her head. “Fine. You still haven’t said what you mean.”

“It doesn’t matter. The game’s about to end.”

The blare of the vest announcing the game made her smile. Saved by the bell. They wandered out of the maze again, bouncing into his friends on the way down. When they emerged into the lobby, Benny discretely discarded his leftover bag.

He stepped behind Reanne, brushing her butt cheeks with the front of his jeans. Heat burned in her face. It took a lot of willpower not to bend over and press herself against him.

“Dude, what the hell happened to you two?” one of the guys asked.

Their scores were the bottom two out of only seventeen people.

She twisted her tongue in the corner of her mouth, chuckling. “I don’t recommend sniping when there are so few people. Makes it really… hard.”

Benny snorted. “Yeah, it does.”

The eyebrow-piercing man glanced between them and his eyes narrowed. “What kind of shooting were ya’ll doing up there?”

“Not enough.” Reanne smirked. “Obviously. We should have done more.”

“Absolutely,” Benny agreed, his hand brushing her hip out of sight of his friends.

Her breath caught in her throat, making her dizzy. Her body twinged with unfulfilled desire. She wanted more.

“Uh huh,” the man said. “Well, sucks for you both. That was the last game.”

Benny leaned down and whispered in her ear, “Can I get your phone number?”

She pulled away and spun to face him. “Tell you what. Show up next week and we’ll work on improving our scores.”

“Next week?”

“Yep. I’ll be here, hoping you will too.”

His mouth opened like he needed to say more, but his friends grabbed him, tugging him away from her. Watching him leave, her legs pressed together to try to subdue the throbbing between them. She hoped he was there the following week. She definitely desired more of what he offered.

Plus, she’d just discovered Laser Tag had a whole other level to it. Reanne wanted to explore it as much as possible if Benny showed up.
