The earth was slowly
Closing its daily rotation
Around the sun

Within months
Half the world
Lay in permanent darkness
Half the world
Lay in perpetual sunshine

Billions were displace
Desperate to find
The way to safety

But there was nowhere to hide
The world came to an end
And people moved on
