For me that is true
I met my wife
Who entered my life
Changing everything.

Almost as If I had won
The lotto or the jackpot
In a way, she was both.

I never was very good
At gambling
Usually losing when I tried
My luck in casinos.

My wife liked roulette
I played the nickel slots
A low roller gambling man
Won at blackjack once.

Lost at poker
In five minutes
Never learned craps.
