What if you wrote about your imaginary friends as a child? What if you wrote about your stuffed animals? What if you write about the demons, the gargoyles, the ghosts that visited you every night? What if those stories turned into novels and made you famous? Famous, but no one outside the family knew. And what if you wrote about the “Dream Investigator”, the man who assisted your friends and stuffed animals to a better place?

His name was Mikołaj Lockwood, Nicky to his family, Miko to his friends. And what if the ghosts had returned to talk of their deaths and wanting closure? And what if Nicky, now using the Dream Investigator’s name of Longfellow Wright, has been hired to find a lost ring, one that has connections to the Kołodziej family, the original family surname?
