STEPPING OUT OF SHADOW

A letter to the darkness...

I write this letter free of shame
to darker places and realms unchained;
and yet unseen through eyes of blame.
For swords of fear and trust; the same.

Each form that steps out of shadow
had shape before pale faces sent to the gallows.
A place where a soul slowly waits.
Sailing like moons across ebony gates.

Your spectrum i swim in and bathe.
Swirling until i am cloaked in your maze.
Capture my mind if ye will!
Show me more bodies of shadows unfurled!

Step out of shadow to me!
Show me your dark; just a light they can't see!
Step out of shadow for me!
Show me your dark; just a light they would flee!
