A poem for WdC's 22nd birthday celebration. |
So what's 2 + 2? Oh, what a simple question! Adding 2 and 2 Makes 4, no second guesses. But ask a little child And she might hold up five. Laugh, but don't blame her, She's not been long alive. Ask an eight year old What two and two make There's a chance he'd say, "Fish!" And he's made no mistake. Add two tablespoons With two more, then convert it. Get a quarter o' a cup Point two five, go and learn it! Two lines squared make four, that's IIII, Though if you're a Roman You'd say, "Well... not quite." So if someone asks, "Well, what's two plus two?" Who's to say it couldn't be 22? Prompt ▶︎ |
