The best-laid plans, etc

In case you're not familiar, a cinquain consists of 22 syllables, distributed in lines of 2, 4, 6, 8, and 2 syllables. This one is for a chapter heading in my novel, "Murder on Cabot's Landing" . When I write these for novels, I attribute them to "The Missing Cinquains" by one Arpad Laszlo.

                   Plans

         Have goals.
         Make plans. Be true
         To them, but not stubborn,
         For chance and fate can turn goals to
         Ruin.
