A poem on failed love |
| Why must I love a cruel man A man who would pillage and destroy Over tending wounds? He will fight until his life blood stops But refused to listen to me when I bruised him And now the man in anger fights a war When all I tried to do was pick body pieces up off bloody floors Cruel man Don't you know I love you? That I would never try to hurt you? I know I've done so now, But accidents are mistakes And rather then murder what we have For the small threat it posed Please Let me fix it I will heal it all But I cannot do so while you siege my walls And you only keep changing the stakes Of this battle you've decided to call "Recompense" |
