Birds hold their breath
the meadow falls silent -
a lynx hunting


The trees tinged Red -
Lüübnitsa Preserve
not long ago


Ivangorod
looms and glares, impotent -
the swift Narva


Even asleep
one eye always looks east -
Russian neighbors
