Free-form poem examining an idea |
| In the beginning was belief, and belief was with man Wheresoever man went, they took belief with them. Man clothed belief with their fear and with their curiosity. Wrapping belief about their common needs and desires. Each local face a universal. Each hiding belief beneath it's singular mask. Claiming possession. Claiming knowledge. Claiming power. Man fought for belief assured that their belief was on their side, and their side alone. Each shaping their world in accordance with their belief. Each was shaped by the belief of the world around them. |
