Yearning for exploration. A Serpent's Tail Poem. |
| Daunting, the far horizon beckoned reckoned in miles no distance persistence will get us there no doubt scout ahead won't you, see what we must heed, need to avoid, step around unbound, following our inclination exploration of our possibilities capabilities stretched, and tried stride on, best foot forward and so on yon lies our eventual destination, taunting daunting, the far horizon beckoned. A Serpent’s Tail poem, written for the Poet's Place group
"Any line length, no set number of lines and no meter. To make the serpent, the last word of each line rhymes with the first word of the following line with the last line being the same as the first, so the serpent eats its own tail."
