Who Gives A Fox?

The path                    to peace
is never straight and difficult to navigate.
Some righteous politicians strive for peace in vain
while others use deceit to boost their private gain.
In days when we can whisper over many miles
and instantly communicate emoji smiles,
we choose to shoot destructive shells
instead of ringing joyful bells.
It's easier to harbor hate
than to participate
in true debate
in hope of
peace.
