simplify
make time
detox

It’s time for me to make time
To detox my body, and even my life.
I’ll scrub my house, dispose of the grime
I’ll clean out the cupboards, and unload my wife

I’ll simplify, I’ll pay all my bills
I’ll reusethe plastic and just get refills
I’ll dig in the garden and grow my own food
I’m going to turn vegan, I’m feeling renewed

It’s time that I changed
It’s time to accept
Perhaps I’m deranged
Or simply inept.

I’ve muddled along in this life
Struggled for far too much time
Got in to trouble and even in strife
I’m just getting started, I’m still in my prime
