In my life
Been all over Korea and Taiwan
By train
Washington to NYC by train.

The longest train trip
Was taking the train
From Mumbai to Delhi
A 12-hour train ride

Due to foggy conditions,

Second class train
A night train
We slept most of the trip
Except when drinking tea
And eating Indian food.

On my train trips
I often thought
Of the US first continental train trip
And the golden spike
In the continental divide
That marked the halfway point.
