Sometimes even if it's not broke, it should still be fixed

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,
exclaimed some facetious wit.

Is that truly sound advice,
or just a useless device?

Shouldn't we clearly just admit,
that often we must submit?

Things get better, it's precise
when status quo doesn't suffice.
