Review: THE KING OF HOUSE ELVES

Although Fantasy is not my first choice of genre, I can certainly enjoy a well-written and enchanting Fantasy. KING OF THE HOUSE ELVES is such: cosy, comfortable, yet adventurous; written from the viewpoint of a castle's House Elves, or Brownies: those delightful little creatures which endeavour to do household chores overnight in return for cream and goodies, silently unseen. Book One of THE BROWNIES OF VELMORAN, KING OF THE HOUSE ELVES pits Brownies against a rampaging Kraken [I find Krakens irresistible] and on a quest to discover a new homeland [pertinent as Ukraine battles to maintain its homeland]. Turn off your phones and curl up with a warm Afghan and a delicious cup of chocolate, while you cheer on the intrepid Brownie Explorers!
