Just A Piece of Toilet Paper

I wipe tears from the eyes of an apple.

I am there to absorb the pain and suffering of the vicious world.

I am there when nobody else is.

The pain I see nobody else does.

I am there when you are not.

Sometimes it is a drop of rain, sometimes I try to absorb rivers.

I want to take away the pain but all I can do is absorb it.

Sometimes I wish I was the most absorbent piece of toilet paper but I can only dry so many tears before I deteriorate and can help no longer.

Only for my tears to end up in the place where other tears gather.

We know the pain when nobody else does.

My tears I hold will be taken by the clouds to then rain over the world hoping that these once sad tears can turn to tears of joy.
