an acrostic poem using the title : THE MEMORY OF TREES |
| "THE MEMORY OF TREES" (an acrostic poem) Tree climbing as a youngster; Heights seemingly had few restraints as I was Emboldened to conquer any challenge tree limbs offered to this child's excited Mind. Spirited adventures and ambitions knew no bounds. At an Early age, love for nature inspired me. I Moved eagerly On toward timeless timber experiences. Therapeutic for my once troubled spirit. Reading while perched on sturdy limbs broadened horizons (from books and tree tops). Younger yesterdays Offered opportunities for childhood memories to be absorbed into every Fiber of every Tree touched, revered, respected, and Rested upon. I sat, meditated, and marveled at the strength of trees and myself. Embrace the body and beauty of Every tree's Soul. |
