Going around

A trip around the country

We once went around, on Highway one.
Around Australia we did the lap.
Just me and him in our old van,
Across the desert. And I read the map!

We didn’t get lost, well not very often.
From west coast to east, then south and then north.
We covered the miles, both on road and off ‘em
Up and down and back and forth.
