Reasons I am thankful to my Family

Thank you for Caring
and for never turning me out
even when I was screaming
both inside and out

Thank you for always fighting
to make sure I knew I was loved and safe
even when it put you up against what looked to me like giants
and making sure I knew the exact moment that you won

Thank you for sharing your family
and giving me so much
From loud sisters and Overly large brothers
down to the small things like lunch

I want you to know I'm so thankful
that you proved not all strangers mean danger
and showing me that Family is more than blood

Far to many to list here
But I hope you know I love you
Far more than can fit here
