Looking for a rumored gateway
To another world
Hidden deep within the mountain

He had discovered the secret portal
While reading the occult classic
The necromicron
Which talked about spiritual locations

Where the boundaries
between the worlds
Were weak allowing for passage
To the other worlds

He came upon the portal
But there was a fairy
standing guard
Along with a giant frog

He asked if that was a gateway
to the other worlds.

the Frog croaked a warning
but the fairy smiled, and said,

“Taking a shortcut isn’t always the fastest
Way to get there.”
