Cosmic Dog From Goa (New Poem)

Back in 1996 Sam Adams
Was living and working in India
Separated due to his and his wife’s jobs.

When his wife joined him
They went to GOA for the first time.

Every morning a dog came to him
The dog looked like he was a cosmic dog.

Listening to Sam Adams
As he did his morning yoga
On the beach.

He told the dog everything
The dog looked like he understood
Everything he said.

One morning he said
Say Cosmic Dog
Are you God?

Bark once if yes
Two if no

The dog barked one

Are you Allah?

One bark

Are you Buddha?

One bark

Are you Satan?

The cosmic dog growled
And he knew he had gone too far
