Children are carefree
with no worries or responsibilities
They run and play and climb trees
No matter how they fall
they survive most injuries

Children are told "the sky's the limit"
when there is so much more beyond
As they grow closer and closer every minute
they are taught to abscond
from their dreams and rising spirit

They say the world is a horrible place
Don't you know, when it rains, it pours?

You'll never make it to space
Just keep your feet on the floor

Accept you're not good enough with some grace
There's no need to explore
You'll only fail and be a disgrace

No I wont because I'm a carnivore!
