I still can’t believe it
My love life
Has been like a fairy tale

I first dreamt of my wife
Back in 1974
When she appeared
In a dream
In class

She disappeared from the dream
After I yelled out
Who are you?

No answer
But I continued to have the dream
For eight long years

I even joined the Peace Corps
To look for her
As I knew she was in Korea
Waiting for me

Then one day
I had the last dream
She walked out of my dream
Into my life
Became my wife

That was 39 years ago
That my dream came true.
